FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Where in my house should I have the entertainment?
Anyplace where there is enough room for children to sit on the
floor, and free
from distractions, such as toys. Most people find
the living room works
well. If we're outside, pick a shady spot to
prevent us from "melting."
Do I need to provide anything?
Just children! Save snacks, toys and balloons for after the show;
all little hands and mouths will be busy making music! Also, for 20
or fewer guests I provide name tags. This helps me a ot, as you
can imagine!
Can Moms and Dads stay and watch?
Absolutely--but beware! Most adults crave social time with other
grownups, and this can lead to concert chaos! Plan to have a
separate space where adults who want to socialize can do so without
distracting the children or drowning out the music!
What if my child doesn't join in?
That rarely happens, but occasionally there is a child who seems to
not be participating. What many years of experience have taught me,
is that children do take it all in, will have a good time, and will
probably be singing the songs to you and talking about all that
happened later!
One, two, three and four year olds' parties:
Music entertainment is a wonderful choice for the youngest
children. What really makes it work is if the parents sit with
their little ones, and sing along. You're welcome to invite
parents, grandparents and older siblings to join in, or I would be
happy to do so.
Is it OK to video the show?
Photos and videos are welcome.
